Intelligent and articulate Valerie Morse
arrived at Wellington's Cycle Aware's Bike To
Work Day and completely upstaged Mayor
Kerry with a blistering verbal attack interrupting
the Mayor's speech. Valerie was in no mood to
take prisoners. With a commanding and
determined tone to her voice she stopped the
Mayor dead in her tracks. The motorway by-
pass was an act of vandalism that had obviously
irked Ms Morse and she had been given an
opportunity to make a point. The Mayor was
dumbfounded and lost her composure. Valerie
Morse had spoilt the Mayor's day!
